Lokuttara Vihara

Lokuttara Vihara — Skiptvet Buddhist Monastery follows the Thai forest tradition of Theravada Buddhism in the lineage of Ajahn Chah. It was established by Western monks connected to an international network of meditation monasteries using English as the primary language. It is primarily a residence for monks but it is also possible to stay as a guest and listen to Dhamma teachings. It is located in the south-east of Norway, about one hour by car south of Oslo and two-and-a-half hours north of Gothenburg.
